Assess Their Best...Review the Rest
Have you used Plickers? Do you Kahoot? Have you scanned a QR Code? During this presentation, participants will learn a few quick formative assessments and reviewing methods to do with 1 device in the class or up to a classroom full of devices. Students feel like they are “playing a game” not reviewing or being assessed.
Teaching can often feel like an endless Tetris game of skills and standards piling high over our students’ heads. While we have plenty of formal assessments to determine whether or not these skills are mastered, it can be difficult to gage along the way how well our students are grasping key concepts. Come join us in exploring using Plickers, Kahoot, Quizizz and QR Codes as a fun and engaging means of gathering quick yet insightful data on your students’ comprehension.
